The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data on the basis of the legal provisions (General Data Protection Regulation, Austrian Telecommunications Act 2003). In this data protection policy we inform you about the aspects of data processing on our website.

Contact option via our website

Due to legal regulations, this website contains information which enables quick electronic contact with us. This also includes a general address for so-called electronic mail (e-mail address). If you contact us using the e-mail, the data you provide will be stored with us for the duration of the processing of the request, taking into account the statutory provisions and subsequently deleted. We do not pass on this data to third parties.

If you suspect that the processing of your data violates the data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in any way, you can contact us or the data protection authority.

Our website uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are usually stored in the browser of the visitor’s end device for the duration of the current session, i.e. until the browser is closed. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. Only functional cookies are used on this website, i.e. cookies that are necessary for the operation of this website. We do not use any statistical or marketing related cookies or similar.

Server Log Files

Server Log Files are recorded on the basis of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in the technically error free depiction, security and the optimization of the website. In order to achieve this, server log files must be recorded.

These server log files contain following personal data: browser type and browser version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, IP address.

This data is not consolidated with other data sources, will not be shared with any third parties and will be deleted after a certain amount of time taking into account the security standards defined by the Medical University of Vienna.

Plugins

The mapping service on our website is provided by OpenStreetMap (OSM). The provider of this service is the Open-Street-Map Foundation (OSMF), 132 Maney Hill Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B72 1JU, United Kingdom.

During your visit to our website, your IP address and other information concerning your behavior patterns on this website may be transferred to the OSMF. OpenStreetMap may save cookies in your browse runder certain circumstances.

In addition, your location may be recorded if you have enabled this in your device settings e.g. on your mobile phone. The provider of this website has no control over this type of data transfer.
